Stuck in Beijing still
October 23rd, 2005 by Greg
Its been a fair few days since I updated this and the last post was so negative that I thought I’d better say something. However I don’t feel particularly inspired so this might just turn into a list of things that I’ve done.
Feeling much better, was completely exhausted to the point of fainting for about a week. Not really sure what was going on – I’d been half-joking to Cat all week that I had bird flu but thankfully that is not the case.
So just been hanging out in Beijing, going for dinner with various people and sometimes going out for drinks and dancing (see photos).
Cat has found herself a flat and I’m staying there until I move on. Its quite a nice flat despite being in a complex that is still being built.
I had been planning to fly down to Kunming as soon as I recovered from last week’s flu thing but I can’t get a discounted flight until 1st November so I may stay up here for another week. I think I have to fly down there, partly to avoid the 2 day train journey and also because I want to move all my stuff down there and even though I’ll have to pay excess baggage it should still be easier than getting it all on and off the train on my own. Cat and I are thinking of going away for a couple of days, possibly to Pingyao.
So I’ll be back on here when I’ve got something more interesting to say.

doesnt seem like you are stuck. it seems china is a nice place to visit and you seemes like you are having fun.
