病了(bing le - ill) in Beijing

Been back in Beijing for just under a week now and ready to leave already. I’ve had a fun time hanging out with Cat and seeing some other people but its not really where I want to be. I’ve come down with something nasty (head cold, tiredness etc.) and am just trying to take it easy at the moment, but intend to head back down to Kunming next week to find a teaching job. I don’t really have very much to do here, seen all the touristy sites years ago, and am just spending lots of money.
I don’t want to paint a picture of doom and gloom, its been quite fun. It just doesn’t seem to fit into my plan at all so I’m not really sure what I’m doing here. I do have more to say about this, I just don’t feel particularly articulate at the moment due to being ill.
Bought a very sexy laptop yesterday and I’m blogging from a restaurant/library with wireless internet.
I’m sure I’ll have more to say when I’m feeling a little better.
